celebrate we will... it's been 10 years in the making, and the san diego film festival is planning a five-day long birthday celebration. you are cordially invited to join us for the biggest birthday party san diego has ever seen, september 28 - october 2, as we premiere five days of award-winning films and host five nights of san diego's swankiest cocktail soirees. raise your glass with hundreds of filmmakers, celebrity guests and all our film-loving friends in VIP lounges, post-screening Q&A's, or poolside as we ring in 10 years of the art and style of film.

san diego film festival is redefining the film-going experience with a new take on how you watch films. we are a buzz-building, posh partying, red-carpet ready film festival. american’s finest city is our location. our executive producers are our generous sponsors and donors, and the hundreds of volunteers you’ve come to know and love. our crew is made up of over 300 filmmakers and actors that are gracious enough to give us the opportunity to premiere their film. and you (the film lover) are the top-billed member of our cast and our crew.
to us, films are more than just movies. hopelessly devoted to the inspiration and talent behind each film, SDFF turns every screening into a red-carpet, media-frenzied premiere (followed by an amazing after-party).
